CEAT-ASM is conducting performance assessments of avian radar sensors and systems under a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. The assessments are taking place in several locations following a multiple year schedule. The objective of the assessment program is to develop technical support for the development of requirements and standards in a FAA Advisory Circular for avian radar use at civil airports.
